Veteran
Todd is a retired military officer who served a total of 28 years. He served in the US Navy as a crew member of a nuclear powered fast-attack submarine at the height of the cold war. After active duty and during law school, Todd transitioned to the Army National Guard, where he received his commission as an army officer. In 2003, he deployed to Mosul, Iraq, with the 133d Engineer Battalion as a company Executive Officer. He then commanded the Forward Support Company in Portland, Maine, the largest company in the Maine Army National Guard.
